My online calculus class started this morning. I logged on about 15 mins early just to make sure everything was still working. The first 50 minutes was spent getting everyone else set up, able to talk, able to see anything and then review the syllabus. It kinda reminded me of any other class on the first day, it usually is all about how the class will run, what the schedule is and so on. So we had about a half of actual course material. The online homework probablems are open now, I’ve done one problem so far. But we didn’t get very far in class. I’ll probably finish that section of problems when I get home tonight. I want to keep up or a bit ahead since I do still have notes from last semester that I can use to help with the first couple sections.
Last week was too short. As much as I wanted to do nothing, I did find myself doing stuff. Laundry, of course I feel like I’m always doing laundry. Friday I planted tomato plants and attempted to save a couple cucumber plants that were in a topsy turvy but couldn’t. Those things are NOT easy to use and after losing THREE plants to it, I hope that mom doesn’t bother with buying more next year. The one with the strawberries is going good, the holes are on the sides for the plan to grow out of. We have berries growing, they’re green, but they’ll turn soon. The regular veggie one, that you are supposed to be able to do tomatoes of cucumbers in, doesn’t work at all.. it kills the plant. I can’t understand, but the ones that I’ve taken out of there it looked like it pinched teh plant from the root in the foam thing that is supposed to hold it in place. I tried to re-plant the cukes, but they’re dead. I planted the roots in the ground anyway, and left what was there of the stem just to see if anything happens.
I did play World of Warcraft, and it took some internet searching to find the SIMPLEST thing to get exalted status with stormwind. I can’t believe I never finished quests in that one low level area, and then forgot about it. It took me about an hour to pick up EVERY quest in Lakeridge and do them, turn them in, etc.. the ones that had to go to SW I did, and ended up exalted without having to finish 2 or 3 of them. I bought a low level horse mount because I didn’t have enough gold to buy the epic, then went out to where I am questing now and earned up enough gold to buy the epic horse mount. I have a pinto (low level) and a white steed (epic). My next target is either Exodar or Ironforge to get exalted in. Eventually I’ll get them all, there is some kind of achievement for that.. and there is an achievement for 10 mounts too. I have 6 far: a frostsaber (low level tiger), a swift mistsaber (epic tiger), the swift zhevra (the recruit a friend mount), a snowy gryphon (FLYER!!!), a pinto, and a swift white steed. My next training level is expensive I think, and so is the epic flyer, so who knows when I’ll add to my collection. Probably another exalted status something from one of the other alliance areas.
